Geology Astronomy involves field trips and night time observing.  Last year year we took a field trip to Bonneville Dam and Mt. Hood Community College Planetarium.  We observed and identified constellations from the night sky on the Milwaukie High School campus.

Got to Haggart Observatory, get them to stamp the handouts you get, and get extra credit. Haggart Observatory is at Clackamas Community College. Get directions here. The observatory is open every clear Saturday night, call 503-657-6958 x 5665 ("LOOK") to see if they'll be open.
