NATURAL DISASTER ASSESSMENT PROJECT

This assignment has different aspects. Each aspect of the assignment is described below. The final product, the amalgation of all these parts, will need to be turned in electronically (on disk or by email) to Mrs. Mills. In a software crisis a hard copy will be accepted. Each student has been given her or his topic in class. If you've lost that information please Email Mrs.Mills'

Due Dates for 2004

The end product is due either November 29th (for 2nd and 3rd period) or November 30th (6th and 7th) We will be working in the computer lab November 9th and 10th, 15th and 16th, 23rd and 24th. At the end of each one of these work sessions your draft or product will be evaluated and feedback given.

Part A

1. What kind of even was your geological disaster? (Earthquake, Tsunami, Flood)

2. What are the usual risks of such an event? (Collapsing Buildings, Pipes Breaking, ...)
