Course Description:

You will learn: how organisms, including humans, interact with the enviroment around them. Course topics include; population and ecosystem ecology, natural resources, energy, and biomes including the Pacific Ocean. In particular, you will learn about Pacific Northwest ecosystems and the impact humans have on them. You will be able to use skills developed in this course to better understand ecological issues. By successfully completing this course, you will be better equipped to make important choices affecting you and the future of the northwest. Calculator and Metric ruler required.
