Course Description:

You will learn: about the structure and funtion of body systems, organs, tissues and cells of the human body and see how remarkable we are all put together. Class work will be supplemented by field trips to college anatomy labs and hospitals to observe medical procedures, operations, and the musculature of the human body. Students who want to find out more about the inner workings of the human body or plan to enter some area in the medical field will benefit greatly from this class. Students will study the skeletal system, muscular system, nervous system, digestive system, circulatory system, immune system, lymphatic system, and different cell and tissue types, which can be found in the human body.
