Course Description:
This course will expose students to many different topics areas such as algebra, geometry, probability and statistics, and measurement, and their interconnections. A varity of math concepts will be utilized that focus on real-world applications, problem solving, and study skills. Class sessions will be hands-on with activities that engage students and develop imo\portant life and test-taking skills. This course is specificallydesigned to help students meet CIM related goals. All students in this course will have the opportunity to complete many work samples in all aresa of math as well as take the problem-solving test and the CIM multiple choice test. |
