The intent of this tournament is to raise funds for a senior scholarship. A scholarship will be awarded every year to a deserving member of both the boys and girls golf teams for the amount of $1000.00. To receive the scholarship, the applicant must have played on the golf team for a minimum of three years and plan to continue on into further education. The scholarship will also be used as a recruitment tool to encourage students to play golf. In return, the scholarship will enhance the golf program at Milwaukie High School. The purpose of the scholarship will be to recruit, as well as expose students to the benefits of playing golf. Through this scholarship we inted to positively affect the lives of students through the game of golf.
